UN-REDD National Programme Document, April 2011
OCCD coordinates PNG's UN-REDD National Programme as a lead Implementing Partner. After extensive national and international consultation, PNG's National Programme Document (NPD) was officially approved by the UN-REDD Policy Board on April 28th, 2011.

It outlines high level mitigation and adaptation measures, which have been translated into specific actions in our Interim Action Plan. The CCDS has been endorsed by the National Executive Council and forms the basis for ongoing comprehensive consultation efforts including provincial consultations."

PNG Development Strategic Plan (2010-2030)

The DSP is guided by the National Constitution and is the first of two 20-year development plans to translate the PNG Vision 2050 into concise directions for economic policies, public policies and sector interventions.
PNG Medium Term Development Plan (5-year plan 2011-2015)

The MTDP is the first of four rolling 5-year development plans to implement the Development Strategic Plan. The emphasis is on developing governance and institutional capacity along with essential infrastructure and policies required for PNG to advance productivity and improve the quality of life.

PNG REDD+ Project Guidelines (final)
This final copy of the document has been endorsed by the National Climate Change Committee for demonstration. The REDD+ Project Guidelines ensures the quality of demonstration activities and protect landowners' interest and serve as safeguards against social, environmental, fiduciary risks.
Provincial Consultation Feedback Reports
These Provincial Consultation Feedback Reports were compiled after each province was visited by a team from the OCCD. These visits are a part of an intensive period of consultation with a broad range of stakeholders including government, NGOs, development partners, civil society, private sector & local communities to 'field test' the ideas in the National Climate-Compatible Development Strategy (CCDS). The National Consultation will connect local communities to national climate change options and capture needs and priorities of communities.
